mmm british columbia All my words get sent to her lately so it's hard to write here, I don't really need an outlet. I'm vacationing on the coast right now, sans family for once, and it is beautiful as always. I am burnt all across my shoulders in a terrific shade of cherry red from spending so much time on various beaches and out in the sun in general, and also because I am a git and did not wear sunscreen for the first three days since I got here. Aloe vera has become my best friend. Pretty much all I'm doing out here is sleeping, playing on the beach, painting, going for walks, eating a lot of ice cream, meeting some long-standing internet friends, avoiding some friends and family that I don't really want to see, having long talks with Jenn about what she should do about the bad boyfriend situation, missing Bri and texting her incessantly, just generally relaxing and enjoying life. Dear diaryland friends: would it be completely ridiculous to book a massage while I'm here? I feel as if it might be one step over the line of completely pampering myself and yet, I am compelled. |
